Little hairs on glass

I've noticed these little hairs growing on my glass. Not too concerned but they grow faster than my snails can eat them. They’re almost L-shaped. One part of the L sticks to the glass while the other part dangles in the water.

Impossible to photograph with an iPhone and current lighting. I see these frequently in aquariums. Always kind of wondered what they are. They’re not like a typical hair algae that’s green or maybe brown. They’re spread out and white. Must be algae. Can’t be worms. But I’m not 100% sure.

Impossible to photograph with an iPhone and current lighting. I see these frequently in aquariums. Always kind of wondered what they are. They’re not like a typical hair algae that’s green or maybe brown. They’re spread out and white. Must be algae. Can’t be worms. But I’m not 100% sure.

You need some sort of filter to filter out the blue or something. I’ve read about it a bit on here. Haven’t looked into it yet. But yeah, everything tend to be very blurry, blue or purple.

Try a piece of yellow Arcrylic.
