Little help - how to approach

Hello Fellow reefers. I am in need to remove the center baffle from this Sump here. I cracked it and I think It’s very straight forward with three cuts. However, my concern where the corner of the baffle joined with the edge of the sump (see image) I am afraid of leakage if I cut too deep into the edge.

May I reseal the edge and what kind of silicone I need
