Little info on aptesia on a sps

Hi people
Just bought a coral got home put the bag in the tank
Looking at it I can see a aptesia sitting on the base rock
What should I do , iv coral RX dip but not sure if that will do anything
Should I takt the coral out the bag and glue or putty over it
Any info would be great

You can see it on the top of the base rock in the last pic

If you have kalk make a thick paste, remove the acro from water apply paste directly to aiptasia do not get kalk on the acro tissue, let sit out of the water for a few minutes and return to water. You can try epoxy it might work just as well. Nice nice piece.

I'd remove the acro from the base before dipping. If's there's one aiptasia, there are probably more. There also could be other pests/eggs hiding in that base.

A hammer and chisel/screwdriver would work. A Dremel with the right bit would work too. If you don't have a QT tank, the risk of damage is worth it imo..

Just doing a Rx dip will it kill the acro crab that in this coral ....I hope not

It should kill the crab if it's a good dip. I'd try to get it out first.
