Good lighting. Plant them and don’t touch them. Wash down the leaves with ro water once a week.

I've tried them in natural sunlight, grow lamps and never have had luck. The tips always get brown and start to shrivel. What substrate works best for them?

I use FL crushed coral. Are you starting with pods?

I've tried pods, pods that have sprouted and started to form roots, and even sprouted ones with a 3-4" stalk. I've been trying to get them to get going in freshwater though, not sure if that's my issue. Where I'm from people use the pods in a bundle in a jar as like a planted center piece on tables and I thought it was neat. Tried it, always failed.

I believe they need some salt although I'm not sure what an acceptable range is. Tank water would work as many people have them growing in their fuges.
