Anyone have this piece? Always loved the look of this coral and thought it was the coolest out of all the dragon type acros, but seems impossible to find now.

I just got one recently from Living Reef Orlando (live online sale here on R2R). It arrived pale and no color.
I didn't realize it is a "dragon." So I'm guessing it doesn't like strong illumination?

A friend grows it and sells frags but from what I can tell it looks really purple and green which isn’t really that special. But I have always wanted to put it under my lights and see if I can get it to look better.

I know the pacman and rmf last dragon looked close but more purplish with green tips. I've only seen the ferrari in photos so maybe its just the lighting?

yes, those are purple with green tips, along with CC needle in a haystack.

I do believe that there's a true red-yellow variant out there, such as red ferrari, or JF fire dragon. My fire dragon, when i first got it (direct from JF)

and recently - good growth, but lost a the yellow tips a bit.

Ha. A couple of my pieces from that livesale arrived looking very pale as well and you are the 2nd person I've seen make a similar comment. Havent had this issue with other vendors.

Love the WWC Little Red Ferrari. Out of all the dragons probably the most beautiful, IMO.

Very nice!
May I ask.....under what light intensity does it like? High, Med, or Low? (I just got a frag and am wondering where to place it). Thanks!

I run 250w MHs radiums for about 3 hours, plus t-5s and reef brites. Seems to be happy at medium light with medium flow.

RMF Last Dragon for reference. Purple with fluorescent green polyps. Where as the LRF is more of a deep reddish maroon color with golden polyps.
