So this is interesting. 200gl fowlr, 25 gl water changes weekly, uv, started using ro/do about 3 weeks ago. 2 eels 5 fish, lots of live rock. Sump fug, 4 living mangroves. Two feather dusters 3 tube anemones in the fug

I have very high nitrate, so added bioptim prohibit and noticed that my skimate production is very low. I adjusted my skimmer and there just seems to be very low skimate. In a normal week, I produce about 2/3 of the container of very dark green smelly skimate. I expected the output of skimate to remain.

Nitrate and phosphate are off the charts, ammonia and nitrite are 0. Everyone is doing fine so I am not overly concerned.

Keeping my cuc in stock has been hard.

Anyone seem this reaction in your skimmer

Adding new additives to your tank will often make the skimmer go out of whack for some time. How long has it been since the addition of the Bioptim?
