So the snail stopped moving I think he might be dead. I'm going to give him about 6 more hours and if it doesn't move he will have to go :-(
If I can know what is growing on his shelf if it's good or bad I'm curious if I should keep it?

The white stuff is normal. It’s a critter dating back to the dinosaur days. The feather duster looking thing might be aiptasia. Take your snail out of the water and give it a good sniff. If it smells funky it’s dead. Otherwise he’s just lost and needs to be placed against the glass. They can’t flip themselves.

I will flip him back over...I think the blenny flipped him again. Should I pull the aptasia off him?

It’s not aiptasia, it’s a feather duster. Harmless. But if the snail is dead I’d get it out. They stink to high heaven when they start to decompose.

If the base a hard tube it’s a cute lil feather duster. If the base is fleshy it’s aptasia. I’m not really sure how to get rid of it if it’s the second.
