little white branches in sump

The other day I noticed that my sump has a bunch of these little white tube like branches appearing on the glass. I did see 1 of these in the display. There is a slight bigger clump of whatever that is at the top of the photo. There are maybe 10 of these and I removed a few and under scope it looks plant like. Any ides what these are? I don't see anything coming out of the top as of now.

Looks like cryptic sponge structures
I'm guessing maybe as a result of dosing silicates (water glass) to beat SCA Dinos. Are they are ok to leave there? They are mostly in the first chamber and in the return area.

They normally form without the needed extra silicate dosing so if you were dosing it to help your diatoms, im sure it certainly helped their formation too lol.

I would leave them unless the structures get so big they annoy you. Good filter feeders.
