Few days back I noticed some mild bleaching on a small section of my red cap’s edge. At the same time my tank has been consuming a lot more alkalinity and calcium than before so I figured it was just the insufficiency of nutrients. Starting dosing to replenish what was being consumed. Long story short I was just observing the cap and a nudi peeked out from under where the bleaching was . I picked it off and placed on the glass to get a better look. So in two days I removed two, I did scrub only because it’s 5inches encrusted on a rock already. I carefully looked under for eggs and nothing. I’m still a novice at reef keeping only being at it for 7 months. What other courses of action should I take? And I’m also expecting to get a few more Monti frags this weekend, so is waiting the best thing?
It truly falls down to ID, and that pic is quite good enough to tell. If you could get a bigger pic with fiber detail I'm certain you can get a good answer. Good new is that if it's not damaging, nudibranchs can be benificial.
