Little worms

I have noticed that I have this tube forming. When I received this coral, there was nothing visible. I even clipped this tube off once already a month ago, but it has been growing back. What I see are very thin, white worms (2 strands) that extend out and eventually pull frames of sand up to make this tube. They don't seem to bother the coral and when I removed the tube, the strands were still there (so they must be embedded in the skeleton of the coral at the base).

I am just curious what these may be. Thanks

Thanks. I never saw the red structure, so I wasn't for sure. It is fun to watch
