Ok guys, I got a question. I have IM Nano 10 gallon and I build a 3 stage Filter rack for it. In the rack I put some Live Chaeto in it. In addition, I cut the Black Backing on it and installed a LED light. My question is how long should I run the light for the Chaeto? I have the main tank light on a timer. Should I add it to it or keep the light on all the time? Let me know what you think. Thank you, Brad

I run my chaeto reactor 18 h rs on, 6 hrs off. I have lights on overnight, too, balances out ph I think. Though I never test ph.

Reverse the photo period from the main display tank, and don't run the light for 24 hours a day! Plants and Algae need a dark period of at least 6 hours for respiration. They will work more efficiently, and the reverse light schedule will keep your O2 levels in your tank higher during the displays dark period.
