I'm considering dosing a tank with live phyto for the first time. Previously I have been using dry foods and Phyto feast.
The system is fairly dim but has two high-light areas (algae scrubbers running on opposing photo cycles). If I were to simply dose a large quantity of live phyto, should I have any concerns apart from cloudy water? I assume with the light and aeriation from the scrubbers the phyto survive but not really grow super well - my macros (primarily Ulva for the pods) look healthy but don't really grow so much. I feel having the live phyto in the tank will be better for overall tank health and help my pods grow even better - but want to avoid any harmful scenarios.
