What was source of live rock? If you paid premium from the ocean, part of that is the expected life that comes on it. I would put in my tank (manually removing any detrimental hitchhikers I see).

If it's from another tank, again part of why that's good is it has the beneficial bacteria on it you want in your tank. If there's algae you don't want, I would put in heated brute can without light (in good saltwater) for as long as you think necessary (if there's pathogens, 77 days fallow, if just algae, several days). Test and change water and don't forget to feed it if there are no nutrients (bacteria got to eat too).

Good luck!
