live rock cycle question

I picked up 2.5 lbs of live rock today and i kind of have a problem. the problem is my tank is at 1.015 sg and im out of salt. I forgot to buy some today but had some salt from before on the way home I got thinking there should be enough in my container to do it. so would this work to do the cycle ? thanks

Dont quite understand the question. Are ou asking if the 1.015sg is enough to cycle or if you have enough to raise it to 1.025?

yeah , was asking would 1.015 sg work to cycle the tank? I was mixing and ran out.

how long will it be until the salinity will be raised to 1.025? to answer you question, you should be fine as true hyposalinity is in the range of 1.008-1.010

okay , yeah just wanting to make sure cause lr and live sand is going in today. my refractometer says actually 1.014 to be exact. I could probably maybe make back to fish store today but not sure. it would be less then 2 weeks before I could get the salt to raise it just wont be able to go anytime sooner if I don't go today. thank you
