hey recently got some Tampa bay live rock , overnighted to me ground about 20 hours in transit to my house. its been about 2 to 3 weeks , with die off , cycling .I been gettin cyano and GHA , i dont have a test kit to test for nitrite right now . Is it possible to get cyano and GHA growth with nitrite being present ?

That's very possible. Without knowing all your water parameters it can be very hard to diagnose anything. But it's very typical to have those issues in a new tank. I suggest getting all your water parameters tested. If you don't have the kits to do it yourself check with your local fish store, they usually offer those services.

Well the good news is you don't have any inhabitants, right? so you can just let it ride for the time being. I would just do water changes for now until you can get your water tested.
