Hairy crab is usually a xanthid or a gorilla crab. Try setting a trap to capture it

Haha I like that! I cant do the putty thing, he has too many escape routes. I like the ice pick route! However, I did a search online and there is a trick with a shot glass. You put a piece of scallop (which by pure coincidence I have for tomorrows dinner) in the shot glass, place the glass under the hole. Go to bed and you should have a crab! He wont be able to get up the sides of the glass! Genius
