This flexible piece on this gulf of Mexico lr has me stumped its lower center rock growing at a 45 degree angle it has a pocket and feels rubbery

Could be some kinda sponge. Do you have a closer pic of what your asking about? You've got a lot of algae going on too in that photo. So not sure which one your asking about
