Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to this hobby and recently I have noticed like Orange/red spots appearing in my live rock. Does anyone know why and if I should be worried?

Agree that is not what is known in the reefing world as "live rock" What your seeing appears to be Diatoms.

+1. The diatoms are pretty normal in a new tank. It tends to pop up when a tank is new and they feed off the silicates in the system. It is nothing to worry about.

How old is your tank and can you tell us a little bit about your tank?

Diatom bloom, not to worry, happens in all new tanks. They eat up the silicates in the water then will be gone.

It's about to be 2 months that I've had it set up and running.
What kind of info do you need? Sorry still new at this hobby. I know my salinity is right since I bought all water mixed. And they tested it and it was good but this was before the bloom. I always use fresh water to top off evaporated water.
