Cheers,

You should be fine. Ive done it many times without issues even took all my rock out and added all new rock without issuses

doesnt copper treatments stick to live rock??

just a question, to make sure that they didnt ever use any.....

As long as the tank has never been treated with copper you will be ok if the rock is kept well in water.

Be careful of pests like flat worms but they are easy to deal with as long as they are not the acro ones.

I personally would test there water for copper before adding the rock to my tank. I have heard storys where people have said they never added copper just to sell the rock and from what I have heard (not 100%) but copper binds to rocks. If there isn't any copper you should be fine just like everyone else said other then maybe some hitchikers.

Thanks for all the input guys! I'm gonna ask him if he ever used copper.

Cheers,
