Live rock question

hi just brought 1kg of established live rock online got some nice coralline growth. Is it safe to put straight into my coral/inverts quarantine tank (fishless)?

Only 4 snails in it currently

What is the purpose of your QT system? If its bugs/pests the rock may introduce them.

I'm using it to do the 76 day qt for bugs/pests for corals and snails. It only 3 weeks old and snails have only been in there 4 days. I'm worried they will not have anything to eat if I don't add the rock

Algae wafer or pellets for the snails?

Adding the rock resets the clock on your quarantine tank.
