Live rock too expensive!!!

I bought this live rock for $50, and it is not enough for any of my needs. Does anyone know a way to get Cheaper rock?

I am new to this post so please bare with me. I have bought live rock from pet store (PC) on sale. my question is I have what seems like a green lawn growing on several of the rocks. I have not had any other concerns and no fish death. My tank has been set up for one year. thanks.

Check your local forum, people are usually selling it for very cheap on mine.

I 2nd reefcleaners. I always get more then what I paid for from him. Or you could just keep what you have and go for the minimalist look

I agree with the dry rock suggestion. It's much cheaper per pound and is actually lighter, so you get more. The live rock you already have will be enough to add some biodiversity and soon enough, the dry rock will be live rock too. My local fish store sells it for $2 per lb.

Marcorocks.com is good - his rock is light and porous and interestingly-shaped. I've also heard good things about bulkreefsupply.com Pukani rock, which I plan to order for my next tank.

Both are dry, "dead" rock that will be made live by the rock you already purchased.

Bulk reef supply .I had pukani rock from them and its really light so you get alot more rock for your money
