Live Rock Turning White ???

Noticed an area of liverock turning white. What causes this? All coral and fish happy.

I have two tuxedo urchins. If you zoom in, one is on the white area.

Urchins clean the algae and in doing so they scrape off top layer of rock too

I've had both Urchins for a year and a half. They are extremely active. Have never seen anything like this. Looks more like something encrusting on the rock.

I have 3 and they strip my rocks white

I agree with, Lavey, my urchin does the same. Parts of rock will be completely white once hes done
