Looking to purchase live rock. TBS is not shipping until April. Gulf Live Rock shows they have what I need in stock (150-200LBS.)
Anyone have a recent experience with GLR?

No experience but one of the biggest “differences” is they don’t ship in water from what I understand.

Again no experience but there’s also salty bottom reef company though they’re currently out of stock of the premium rock, but they have an option to ship submerged.

Theres also KP Aquatics who also has an option to ship submerged (I think). I haven’t checked. I’ve ordered from them in the past with good success.

KP will only allow 40lbs. per cart. Unless I'm reading it wrong.
So the way I understand it is they have a live inventory. So they likely only have 40 lbs of premium in stock. If you need 150-200 lbs, I’d reach out to Phillip (one of the owners) directly and see what he can do for you (through the contact us)

I think that's real time inventory. I've purchased way more from KP at one time, but the limit you see there has changed as I've shopped them for rock. My conclusion is that limit is all they have in stock at the moment.

That said, KP rock is A++++ and shipped in water every time I've ordered.

I bought 40lbs from GLR a couple of months ago. Was shipped in water, and showed up in great shape.
