My live rock be out of water for about 6hr, im going to wrap in news paper,is
this a good idea?. Hoping to prevent to much die off. It will be in transit about
4hr, going to try and keep it as warm as possible

Well that's how they do it when they ship it but you may just have a tad but if die off

Thats a real good idea, just wrap it real wet, and after you re-introduce it to the tank, keep an eye on your ammonia levels...(High Amm=rock dieoff in your case).
