Live rock

My system is up and running it has been running for about 6 months. My question is I want to add more live rock, how do I do that any thing special, or just add the rock.....thanks

is there any life in it yet...CUC, fish,coral? if there is nothing in it i guess u could put it in. that might start another cycle do to what might die off of the LR. is the LR cured or un-cured? if u have life in the tank then i would make sure its cured first. hope this helps, others with more know how can chime in.

Where are you getting the liverock from? If the liverock is cured or from an already running tank, than you should be fine even if you do have other life in the tank.

If its Fully Cured Live Rock, go ahead and just throw it in, as it wo'nt start a mini cycle. If its not, and or your using just dry rock, add alittle at a time, every 3-4 weeks, so your system doesn't go into a cycle.

thanks everyone, my live rock is from another tank fully cured, so i will just get some and add thanks for the help
