Not sure I understand. Are you saying you purchased the tank with some live rock and you just want to know if you need to do anything with the rock or just set up your new tank with the rock the way it is?

Dry rock - not it shouldn't mess anything up. I've done it multiple times. I usually get it and rinse it off thoroughly and let it dry in the sun for a day.

If the rock is clean and free of organics, you should not have a problem. If the rock has dead material on it, it could cause an ammonia spike. If you only have rock and sand, you can add it and let it cycle. You don't mention if you have fish or anything else a spike could injure.

Okay because i read u need too let it cycle firsta few weeks but i wasnt sure

That's why I usually give it a good wash and let it soak in the sun. The sun will help

I've also done a bleach bath just to be safe. A day in the sun will eliminate any traces of bleach.
