Should I be worried? How do I get rid of it?

Some people find it to be a pest, or invasive. If it's not growing out of control in your tank I wouldn't worry about it much. I think it looks kinda cool. Others will disagree I'm sure!

I would try to manually remove it and make sure that your nutrients are not to high. Just like any other type of algae, if you leave it alone and keep feeding it, it will get out of control.
