Hi there
Next week I will be upgrading my tank(yay) .
I would like to make a really interesting rockscape.
I have bought a lot more new live rock and will be using some of the old live rock.
The question is : I'm female and take a long time to perfect what I want.
How long can I keep the live rock out of water before I do any damage.
That is with and without coral attached to it.
Thank you in anticipation

I prefer not to leave coral or rock out if water longer then 30 minutes. Though I know some who say 2 hours.

I would suggest sketching or googling ideas to aid in the amount of time you have to have the rock under water

With corals, as short as possible (some corals handle it better than others, such as those that are usually found in tidepools... Others can start dying off fast...

Without corals, I agree with 30-60 minutes top. You will have small die-off, but not enough to create a cycle...

Thank you.
This is going to be so difficult.
