Hello guys,

I bought 125 pounds of live rock, but took me at hour to get home and the rocks were "out of the water" for that time. They told me to leave them in a tank for a couple of weeks before adding them to my DT. I have them in my 75 tank with bacteria, to get them ready for my DT. How long do I need to wait for them to be ready.

Thanks

That would be based on the amount of any die off. Was the LR already cured?
The fact that the rock was out of water for an hour would not concern me unless the rock was uncured.

Hi

Yes, the rock have been cured for couple of months.

If the was fully cured and only out of the water an hour you really should be able to use it. In an hour the rock should have remained moist. They ship LR in news paper sometimes.
Cured for me means completely cycled with little to no possibility of die from macro algae or other organisms.
