My Rotifires crashed. Clowns hatching soon. Does anyone have live Rotifiers they can sell me? Or any shop that sells them.

Pretty sure they have them at Wet Pets, but Vernon is quite a haul from Danbury. :-\

Got some copods in Waterbury. I hope their not to big for the fry to eat

Copepods will be much to large for clown fry. I recommend having atleast 2 separate cultures of rotifers going for redundancy purposes.

Great. They all finish hatching yesterday and I had to go on the road so I filled the tank up with copepods and left. Hope I don't come home to a bunch of dead fry

Did you seperate the fry? Also if you have the tank filled odds are they will not survive. Like I mentioned the pods are much to big and also having the tank filled means you wont have enough in the tank. Why fry first hatch their hunting/vision is very limited. You basically need to put so many rotifers in the tank that they are bumping into them. I highly suggest you do some more research before attempting again. This will also give the pair a chance to really start laying strong clutches.

I only filled the tank up with water to 4 inchs just so the pot was submerged, it was holding the clutch. I made sure that both of the waters were exactly at 81 degrees. Then I waited so I could see the silver behind eyes. Then I transferred the pot into fry tank. I have been studying and trying to gather up any information possible, watched every YouTube video. I have my phyto growing. I had my Rotifires growing but something happened. I have 5 fry left. I can't give up now. The next clutch will be much different.

Having gone through the breeding process, I know that this can be a very time consumming activity. Good Luck!

Like, capt said, I would definitely recommend having at least 2 rotifer cultures in case 1 crashes (we had 4 to be safe lol).

Keep us updated on your progress.

The five fry I have left are still alive seem like you're doing well. Thank you for all your input and I will definitely keep you updated. Thanks a lot Rob
