How many people enjoy the live sales?

I think they can be fun, irritating at times because you have to refresh the page constantly because the coral that is posted is gone in seconds. I'd say they are discounted prices but whether or not the discount is much or if it is discounted from a very outrageous price to a less outrageous price is the question. You might want to get ritter or skinz or another mod to edit this though! Its in the livestock for sale forum :)

The one that just happened, checked out the prices... Wouldn't have paid those on a normal day lol. I'v participated in some that had great deals all over the place, multiple eye Miami hurricanes for $15ish, all day and things like that. But It's really about the vendor, Honestly I think in majority, its just a way of clearing huge amounts of livestock, at one time, They probably do more sales in that 24hr than in a month... So works for them, sometimes us.

Lol. You going to start a "what do you think of live sales" thread after every live sale?

They are what they are. Prices aren't any higher than what they are on their sites. Most of the time they are 10% cheaper or more. If you don't like the vendor's prices in the first place you probably are not going to like their live sale.

what he said! there are definitely deals to be had, but not every piece is a screaming deal. most all the pieces are discounted from the "normal" price. one of those, if you dont like it...dont buy it, scenarios.

I like them. I have gotten caught up in the fun and bought the same thing twice or something I really did not want but I still had fun. I usually just try to set a limit and have fun. I kinda know what pieces I want and go for them.

You've got to win multiple item to come out to the good. For example an Acan at $.01 will cost you $50.01 if its all you win.

I loved the Cherry Corals sale. I got 6 awesome frags for a total, including shipping, of $110. Didn't hurt that $50 of that was a gift certificate, lol...but that aside, I'm a little on the competitive side. XD Had a blast.

I like the Cherry Coral's Live sale better than WWC BUT I can pick up at WWC. Even though I tried, I was unable to buy anything in this latest sale but I did snag one on the leftover sale. JMHO

I enjoyed Cherry Coral's. The last one from WWC wasn't as fun. It was too chaotic for me to enjoy.

I spent a small fortune on the Cherry Corals sale and noting on World Wide's sale simply because I did not like refreshing the page and found out really quick I wasn't gonna refresh the page over and over not to mention their was no real way of seeing what was selling, sold or available after very boring.

Cherry's was way better and I can't wait for another.

Oh I can't forget Reef Rafts sale that was good too spent a bunch of coin their too.

All in all I enjoy them if they are done right.

I didn't attend WWC's because I'm broke XD
I also only have a 20 high to pit my corals in at the moment and don't want to overcrowd them.

Reef Raft's was before I was ready, I think.

Lol.. Nothing wrong with asking about opinions, friendly conversation etc..
İm pretty new, but they are both fun and a bit frustrating.. Last one, everything was going wrong for me so i couldnt enjoy myself

I have looked at the coral during these sales and most of the time they are really tiny frags, freshly cut. I like larger pieces with some encrustation; but that's just me.

I like the action of the live sales. Some are great opportunities and some feel like a clearance sale. I have picked up some good deals. Live sales can tell you a lot about the company that puts it on. If its well organized, is it wysiwyg, fresh cuts or no, can they ship the corals in a timely manner. The best shops consider these things.

It seems I always have something going on every time there is a live sale; but if I participated I would want to get a few items to make the shipping worth while - which would mean giving up allot of time to sit in front of the computer.
