Live Sand

I never hear any discussions on live sand. I personaly use crushed coral. I have never used live sand and was wondering if I should?

Yes you should switch over to sand you will love it. Many people don't like crushed corals.

Live sand exports nutrients. It does the same job as your LR. Crushed coral doesn't have the same efficiency. If you have no issues with nitrates it isn't critical to switch.

I think I will try live sand this time. I am setting up a new 24 gal. nano with ricordea. It has 2-36 watt pc's. I will put on pics after I get it done. Thanks!!!
