Very good deal on blue tang however if its an inch or so, they can be touchy, finicky and stress easily

they are 3 to four inches just got a 125g and saw these guys green chromis are $4 a Piece and bought six to cycle my tank look great and he sells super storms and black ice for $40 and have yellow tangs fro $145

I think the collection of wild caught fish has stopped and captive breeding is more popular now and this process is more expensive so that why they cost more. over here the yellow tang cost 300-400 USD and is a rare fish to see in shops today so we have the blue tang over here for a great price but not the yellow tang.Over there you might have the yellow tang but not have the blue so it all depends and yes I think import cost and the stage of being raised in captivity.

Why are they so expensive in Australia? Import costs?
Everything is expensive here. Yellow tangs are 1.5k+, Achilles tangs 1.9k.
A very nice red carpet nem is 4500.
Corals from our doorstep( great barrier reef) are just as expensive coz exporters get more money from overseas than here.
