I am putting together a LA group buy for March. Orders must be to me by the evening of Saturday, March 8 and delivery will take place Tuesday, March 11.

If we can reach the $225 free shipping requirement all live purchases, with the exception of live rock and live sand, will ship for free regardless of what warehouse they ship from. Keep in mind that because of the two day ship requirement on DD items the only way to order from the Divers Den and participate in the free shipping group buy is to order that final weekend.

In the event that we do not meet the free shipping requirement we will either split the shipping evenly or postpone the order.

Come on my friends, I hate to pay shipping so let's spend some cash!

We can order fish at most likely a cheaper price, if anyone is interested. And it will be free shipping no matter how small the order.

I currently have in my 75 gal, a pair of fancy clowns, 3 blue green Chromis, three Dispar Anthias, and one scooter blenny. Do you guys think I could add any more livestock like a few small cardinal fish?

Rick....I think you would be ok adding the cardinals...just my opinion. I have more or less the same bio-load in my 75 gallon, and I couldn't see adding a few more small fish making any significant impact on the system. After talking with the group at the meeting and hearing how clean your sump stays, it sounds like your husbandry would allow for 10 more fish on top of that...lol.

I think we will have enough to get free shipping. If people who are planning to order will let me know about how much they think they will spend I will have a better idea of whether or not we will reach the free shipping amount.

I don't think it'll work out for you, unless you live in the local (Huntsville, AL) area. The way it works is one person (Trish in this case) takes everyone's livestock request and places one order to be shipped to her house. When the order comes in, she then packs it all up and meets everyone at a central location in the area where we all meet to pick up and pay her for our order.
