Recently I made a purchase at liveaquaria. I bought 3 bags of reborn calcium reactor media. This was and is still pictured on their website:

This is what I received:

I contacted customer service with the pictures and was told "you got the right item" by two employees. I was offered no assistance or options of return or resolution. After spending thousands at liveaquaria, this will be my last purchase. I hope others think twice before giving their business to this place.

It seems like the same thing - with a different handle on the bag - so what? What do you want to resolve? I'm not trying to be snarky - but - really? I mean its not like you're putting the bag into your calcium reactor? Every product I've ever bought has looked 'better' in the picture than the product received (if its a gravel type product). I think you might ??? Be over reacting somewhat?

There was a change to the product. It used to be a certain way, now it has changed. The picture on their website is not up to date and does not represent what is being shipped out. When I brought it to their attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering a return, they basically said "nah we shipped the right item" and left it at that. Again, its not really about the mistake in itself, its the reaction.

btw: if you don't use a calcium reactor then the change may not seem to be that big of a deal; but the size of the media makes a huge deal depending on some reactors (the finer media causes them to clog much more often).

@celebrityovernight We sincerely apologize for your dissatisfaction with the Reborn. We have forwarded the images to our Merchandising Department to review. As this is a natural sourced media, the size of the pebbles will vary. We would appreciate the opportunity to view your order and reach out to you for a discussion/resolution. At your earliest convenience, please send us a private message with your order details/email address associated with the order. We look forward to hearing from you! Have a great day.

Reminder that this is a vendor feedback thread. Outside comments are not permitted with exception to posting a link to your own feedback thread regarding the same vendor.

Thanks
