It's been a while since my last order from them, I've got a couple fish, hermits and snails coming tomorrow. All are coming from the California location. I need to adjust salinity on my QT tonight, which is currently around 1.023 as is my DT. Fish are going into the QT and hermits and snails into DT.

Is the salinity typically still 1.018-1.020 for fish and around 1.025 for inverts?

You may want to call them in case things have changed. But I ordered from them a couple of months ago and it came in a 1.016 for fish. And that's twice last year at the same level of 1.016 according to my record log. And I recalibrate my refractometer each time I was receiving an order from them. I didn't write it down separately for corals, but I think it was the same level too. Both times from the Cali location. Hope this helps.

Okay, so maybe I'll go down to 1.018 to be safe. When I called all she could find about CA salinity was 1.018 - 1.024. I'm guessing the high end is inverts & low end is fish.

I got an order from them a couple weeks ago. Fish from CA were at 1.021. Fish from ORA in FL were at 1.019.

My last fish order from the CA facility 2 months ago was 1.019. Divers Den is usually always around 1.025 though.

Suuuuuuper consistent then :)

I had a bucket of RODI and a bucket of 40ppt water ready to go so I could adjust up or down. I knew it would be low, so I had my QT sitting at 1.022 to start with and had room to add 1 gallon of "Adjustment" water.

Got an order of fish from CA that was 1.016 and inverts that was at 1.025 3 weeks ago.

I think you have to test each time. I order a lot from both. DD is pretty consistent at 1.025. LA (quality marine) is usually 1.018/9 for fish, but there are outliers. I regularly calibrate my refractometer, so would be confident in my measurements.

I typically set my QT to 1.018 and then adjust down from there as necessary

LA usually send out shipping notices after the package has been picked up by UPS or other carriers.

My last order was between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They didn't ship the package until almost 8:00 pst.
Whoa! That's late! I wonder if it is because you are so close to them. If that was coming to the east coast I'd worry it would miss the plane!
