I am getting some fish today from LA.

Anyone else recently get just the next day air saver? Which means it doesnt get delivered till 3pm??

I feel like they have gone hill so much since Petco took over.

Nope, mine always came by 10:30 am

This time of year with more mild weather (depending on location) it shouldn't be a big deal.

Not happy with it. I had a acro delivered at 5 pm and it was ice cold lasted 2 weeks.

Recently got an order from them. Top notch packaging and delivery came on time 10:30am. Not sure about next day air 3pm but I think it should be fine. Let's us know.

I have it held at the local UPS and I am about to pick it up. It was 2 expensive wrasse and I didnt feel like risking it, for myself and also of course for the fish

What are you getting?
If it is like a clean up crew it does not need to be overnight and maybe that is why?

Personally if they are doing this on fish I would never order from them?
Not only that It would mean missing a full day of work to stay home and wait.
I have had zero luck with their shipping unless from Wisconsin facility even long before they became Petco.

Corals are shipped from Asia and Australia regularly. I'm sure it will be fine. Most vendors require a minimum of $300 purchase to get free shipping. LA minimum is $100. Why the complaint?

Honestly, I haven't had any issue with LA. While they are no longer the Costco of online fish outlet, they are still better than most online retailers.

By the way people, if your piece is not a WYSIWYG don't be surprised the piece you received is different than in the picture. I ONLY BUY WYSIWYG.

And guess what? Sometimes WYSIWYG don't even look the same under your light.

I always get my order at approximately 9amto 10 am. Pretty solid delivery. I wonder if it’s because I’m in Chicago and I hear they have a Wisconsin location. Is that true? The livestock comes well packaged as well.

Where was the complaint? The OP asked a question and you replied without an answer to that question. They never mentioned anything about WYSIWYG either, nor anything about your lighting. Not one thing was mentioned about shipping from overseas. I am beginning to think you are in the wrong thread.

Was it a notification? I'm looking at my order and mine just says by 4:30 by end of day. Is this what your talking about?

Edit: Mine does say UPS Next Day Air Saver. I found it! That being said. I just ordered CUC and some Chromis lol. I have not done a expensive order yet.

Uggg I would not be happy.

I have always had them ship for morning delivery.
I hope that is not a policy change. Really does not matter I will not order anything from them unless from WI because the other facilities have garbage shipping and I have received so many dead fish.

A LiveAquaria fish order I got in March was shipped UPS Next Day Air from California and was delivered at 9:45AM. A fish order of the same value that I placed yesterday (5/9) was shipped UPS Next Day Air Saver and isn't scheduled to arrive until 3:00PM. Maybe they use slower shipping in warmer months?

I live a 3 hour drive from Live Aquaria Divers Den in Wisconsin
I received my first fish this week Tuesday.
My fish left on next day air around 4pm monday and it arrived at 2pm Tuesday.
Packaged fine and the fish is great.
Just wish my order didn't have to fly to minneapolis just to get on a truck to be driven 2hours from minneapolis (45min past my house) to sit overnight then be delivered the next afternoon instead of morning.
Not a complaint..this happens with amazon as well, it's the ****hole area I live in.
And UPS HATES me for complaining about their logistics so many times with their CS dept.
I mean if my fish goes on a plane then driven 2 hours away sits overnight then the next day is driven around for 6 hours before delivery...Why not just UPS the fish from Divers Den and just be driven the 3hours here. It's probably much cheaper for them even. dang I must be the logistical king?
