I've ordered several fish and coral from Divers Den. Always had excellent results. From what I hear they quarantine fish and I've never heard of anyone having a bad experience from them.

only divers den is worth it.

I agree there are three different liveaquarias and they are run different. Divers Den is from Rhinelander WI and I have been there many times. That is the one run Kevin Kohen and is far superior from the rest. Tells you when you look at livestock where it ships from.. I have had nothing but problems with LA from the other two facilities. They do not quarantine like they do in WI, the shipping is not as good, I have had the wrong stuff shipped.
The good thing is they have some of the best customer support and warranty around.

Now with that said, liveaquaria has been bought by Petco and now it seems allot more people have issues with them including divers den.. I have not used them since they were bought so I have had no experience with them lately myself.

I know things are not as good because before anytime someone posted a issue with them they were right there on the forum to help fix it... You never see them anymore patrolling the forums now.

I've bought both fresh and saltwater fish and inverts from Live Aquaria. I have also bought a few inverts and rock flower Anemones from Diver's Den. I haven't had any problems yet! Our LFS are pretty crappy, so I get most of my stuff online. Otherwise I have to drive an hour or more to get something from a store I trust.

I received another medium to large order today without any hiccups at all. I'm quite happy with them still

I have always had great experience with divers den - have had fish die twice and both times was refunded my money.

I have also ordered from Blue Zoo aquatics and never had a problem with them. I actually think the packing is just a little more professional from them. They send you food that the fish have been eating.

Can you tell a little more about the orders that you weren't happy with? It's pretty odd for clean up crew to die in shipping. Heck, most ship with little to no water. I thought that would be pretty bullet proof.
Here are some examples from my last order. I ordered 36 tiny blue legged hermit crabs, I got 5 alive with many empty shells. 5 trochus snails were in a cloudy smelly bag and all were dead. The other hermits I got, dwarf zebra black and Scarlett's were alive but I got several empty shells. It's as if the person filling the order is just grabbing shells without checking if there is anything in them. This is the second order of cuc that I had whole bags of dead snails and empty shells.

I too my myself have used them. I've gotten clean up crew members, fish, crabs and coral. Of my few orders from them I've had a few issues. One was shells from hermit crabs were empty. I had a cleaner shrimp die with in a couple days. I've also had a couple of the corals die with in a couple weeks. But I feel that's expected from stress. The costumer service is unbelievable. They have a great plan that they stand by their live stock for 14 or 30 days. So for me I will do business with them many times over.

My tank is pretty much enitrely stocked with fish that came from Divers Den. I also have a couple of their frags...All are healthy and doing well.

Very happy with Liveaquaria Never had any problems with refunds. Have had fish shipped that were way tooo small. If you have any problem just call immediately and save the fish and offer to send it back. They will reship the DOA with no shipping charges.

I've had pretty good experience with liveaquaria overall. Quality has been good and customer service is great. never ordered from divers den tho. I have had them send me a plain old toadstool instead of the neon green I ordered, and they told me a few times " it just needs to color up" before finally refunding my money. Other than that incident I have no complaints

I love Live Aquaria because of the customer service. That said, on my last few orders there were some mess ups.....ordered 25 snails and received 24 empty shells....I also ordered 10 nerite snails and relieved trochus instead.....the best thing though is that they have fantastic customer service and warranty.....I have never had a good customer service experience anywhere else.

NY Aquatics is a crook. He sends one bad fish after another and is rude to the customers. Avoid! Live Aquaria and Diver's Den are the best for customer service
