I ordered a bunch of fish from liveaquaria last weekend. Their Black Friday sale was too good to pass up. I got 3 Bangui Cardinal fish, a Flame Angel (a fish I've wanted since seeing it the first time around 18 years ago), and a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse. Shipping was excellent and all arrived alive and in good shape this past Tuesday. By the end of the day all were swimming around and looking great and eating.

After waking up this morning we learned there was a problem over night. The Flasher Wrasse was dead. And not just floating upside down dead but half eaten by the cleaner shrimp dead, with the shrimp still enjoying his meal.

I went ahead and called liveaquaria since they have guarantees on their fish. Here is the only complaint I had with the call. She talked too fast. Julie, their customer service rep, picked up by the second ring. After verifying it was me and I had placed the order she gave me my options; credit the price back to my credit card or credit the price towards a future purchase. I was confused. Where was the arguing, blaming me and trying to avoid their guarantee? Nope. None of that happened. Julie was very polite and professional and resolved everything in less than 5 minutes.

I just want to give credit where credit is due. Liveaquaria treated me great and made a customer for life.

Mods: I'm sorry if I put this in the wrong section.

I agree 100%.

I too ordered on during the black Friday sale. Unfortunately for me, UPS delivered my package to the wrong house.

I didn't have any immediate deaths (though things didn't look optimistic after everything sat in the cold for so long at someone else's house).......I had some deaths overnight. I called Live Aquaria customer service; they answered on the first ring.
The woman was extremely polite and understanding. I was taken at my word and decided to place a credit towards a future purchase.
This is how you run a business.
