I was just wanting to see if any of these (livestock pictured below) are compatible with the other inhabitants of my tank. My DT is 30 gallons and sump is 5 gallons.

Livestock include:
2 clownfish
Sailfin tang
Cleaner shrimp
3 blue legged hermit crabs
2-3 snails (I think cerith, I forget)

Coral includes:
GSP
Ricordea Mushroom
Zoas

(I put a picture of my tank just so you can see how things are sort of laid out)

I'll also add in that I do have a 5 gallon tank that I only have some snails in right now but I would like to put a fish in there one of these days. I figure the starfish is definitely not suitable for a 5 gallon tank but what about the other two?

I would re-home the Sailfin Tang and go with the Goby.
I also kept Fromia for about year on a 29g.

Fromia Starfish are hard to keep alive for any length of time.
Neon Dottybacks are aggressive so you need to keep that in mind. It and your Clown Fish may not get a long.
Red Head gobies prefer lower tank temperatures.
As mentioned, your Sailfin Tang is going to get big fast. I would try a smaller fish in a 30G tank.
Just recommendations from my past experience;)

What are the most common reasons Fromia Starfish die?

When you say lower tank temperatures, how low are we talking? 72F?

Yea I hope to get a new tank soon so I can move that guy into a bigger tank. He has done good this far and I've had him for about a year.

To be honest I'd scrap your list, rehome the tang. With the 2 clowns, you could have a few different gobies, maybe (with caution on the reef safeness of them) a dwarf angel to replace the tang. Dartfish would be good, too. Oh, and don't forget all the pretty blennies"

If you keep the tang, I wouldn't add anything else. His output towards the bioload is gigantic! Even one more little fish may tip you into endless algae issues.

What are the most common reasons Fromia Starfish die? Lack of food and their very sensitive toNo3 and Kh swings.

When you say lower tank temperatures, how low are we talking? 72F? I believe @ 76
