Livestock shipping this week

I try and post this on a yearly basis, as a 23 year Fedex express veteran I try and warn people of the dangers of shipping livestock this week Fedex and ups are running huge numbers this week and delays are inevitable. Missed flights and missed trucks are common place. Fedex will move between 20-25 million packages a day this week and at a 99.5 on time Record that is still a lot of late packages

Great post and something I have been thinking about with all the vendors pushing last minute sales over the last few days.. I would never order any livestock in the 2 week window leading up to Xmas, ordering this time of year can be risky anyway with cold temps over a lot of the country.

One of my kids added a snowflake eel to my repeat delivery order on Petco. ;Facepalm I just got the notice that it’s preparing to ship so I had to use their live chat thing to talk to a service rep. Hopefully it gets resolved.

YES .... definately no livestock orders until after the holidays .... probably not until Spring.

Thanks for the reminder. I almost started to bid on some corals over the weekend, but came to my senses.
