Hi guys, how long can clownfish, cleaner shrimp, and turbo snails survive during shipping? I'm starting my first saltwater tank but the fish stores that sell saltwater fishes takes more than a 12 hour drive, can they survive in a bag for more than 10-15 hours?

I never bought online so never had a fish otlr invert delivered and dont think i want to as often i get deliveries delayed or even if im in they say couldnt get an answer so had to re-arrange delivery.
But 10- 15 hours shouldnt be a problem at all.if shop can add oxygen even better.
Just do a little research about aclimising a fish if it been in bag longer than you would like as fish produces waste the amnonia level increases but ph goes down making amnonia none toxic but once you open bag the ph rises and amnonia becomes toxic.i would of thought this is if fish in bag longer than 10- 15 hours though but if you order online and takes longer it something to bare in mind.
If you thinking driving 10- 15 hours with fish in car would need find a way to not let temperature rise to high or go down to much ,if possible could put fish in bucket with airstone and or heater or just keep it simple and fish in bag inside a cooler maybe

This is what I would do. Small heater and a air stone in a cooler or 5 gallon bucket (assuming cooler climate. Just keep the air stone running and the temp stable.

10-15 hours should not be a problem… most online orders here in the states, are packed by early afternoon on the day of shipping and don’t arrive until the next morning.
