Hi everyone,
I have a massive problam with bubble algae and find that i am at the end ov my teather, so i have decided to change my rock out for real reef rock. I have fish and corals in my tank and i am worried that changing my rock will affect my livestock.
Can somebody advise me please.

Thankyou in advance

If your concerned about your living things. Set a qt up until your tank is stable.

Take everything including water and setup a QT tank. Rince your tank and sump completely. After several months and your display is stable you can move fish and corals back into the display. Making sure you clearly frag the coral not placing any existing rock with a coral. You could try Vibrant before going through this nightmare?

Bubble is some tough stuff ! I cooked my rock in darkened barrels for 11 months & it still came back ! You can try & cut back on nutrients, but not too much.get them down to detectable levels & wait it out. It has worked for meI still have a little bit but not overwelming like before.
