Lizard Blenny Sick or Injured??

I recently purchased a lizard blenny and found these spots on him. Does anyone know what it might be? I have started using Melafix, hoping that will heal him but want to make sure he is taken care of. Let me know

This is a bacterial infection and likely from scratch or injury as these guys startle quickly. Recommended is to move this fellow to a separate quarantine tank and treat with either Maracyn 2 or prefereably seachem Kanaplex for at least 5 days and increase oxygen with an air stone during treatment.
Is fish breathing normal or labored ?

Welcome to Reef2Reef!
Melafix is really just a tonic and unlikely to cure any serious infections.
This could be Uronema (untreatable, sorry!) or it could be a bacterial infection.

Missed the melafix and agree with Jay, useless is the best word I can use as it is simply teak tree oil which may help with freshwater fish, but not in marine
