I know it's a plain green lobo but this thing always eats. I love it .
Same for this blasto, always takes what they are given...
Both eating some fresh scallop.

The green is pretty cool. It would be nice to have some other corals around it to make it pop and stand out. (not like it doesnt right now)

actually the blasto always eats like that... it gets big but its been a long time eating like that and hasn't spawned any new heads...
I just moved it and looked under the head and saw 2 tiny green spots that look like babies, i hope they are babies and grow.
The lobo split that smallest head since i got it. that was a while back too.

I have a blasto that looks just like yours. I've had it for almost a year. It looks healthy but does not grow. I did notice a few baby heads on the main stem under the main head when I did an scape change. I've never fed mine directly.

Try direct feeding
I have a blasto that went from 2 heads to well over 10 in just a few months!
I also have a Duncan that did the same from 3 to over 20 in about a year
I would have to say that was mainly due to direct feeding because I don't feed my euphylias and they have yet to sprout new heads.

as you see i direct feed mine and i give him nice size chunks of scallop that he devours.
