I’ve had this lobo for over a year with no problems, but for the past week one lobe has been fading in color. I haven’t made any changes in equipment or husbandry, and I target feed ReefRoids once per week. All parameters are normal and have been stable. My other lobo is fine. Any thoughts?

Any changes in your lighting? Looks like it might be bleaching.

I did add an additional light about 5 months ago since there was a bit of shading due to coral growth. But would bleaching suddenly start that long after making a change?

I would send off a water sample and have it tested.

Parameters look good which is why I say send a water sample to get tested.

I forgot to mention in my original post that I also sent in a water sample for ICP analysis and it came back normal.

Do you run carbon to help keep the water clean and if so what is you schedule for changing the carbon. I think you do run carbon, but I may be wrong.
