I received a Lobophyllia hemprichii from BlueZoo a few of weeks ago. When it arrived all that was showing was it's skeletal form. I placed in my QT for a week or so then moved it to my DT a couple of weeks ago. I've not seen any change in it since it arrived. Blue Zoo refunded my money. Great customer service by the way. Will defintiely continue to do business with them. Anyway, I've read that there's a possibility that it may come back. Thoughts?

place it in the shade with moderate flow and keep up with your wc and you should be good, i have had a lobo that was stung by some mushrooms that healed up in a week or two.

I will get zooanthella, it's a liquid by algagen if I'm not mistaking. It supposed to have some ingredients that sometimes corals lack of. It's supposed to help them out, specially when receding.

Is there any flesh left on it at all? If not, lobos aren't ones that come back eventually. If so, do your best to feed it. You might have to drop the food dead center in its mouth and watch to make sure nothing steals it before the lobo can eat it.

No flesh left to speak of. There's a little meaty lookinf stuff down in between the spiny looking skeleton, but nothing on top at all.

As long as there's some flesh there's hope...though with the looks of that not much. Try to find a mouth and get food in it, if it gets food it will greatly improve its chances of recovery.

I had a Scoly for about 3 weeks and one day I noticed it completely receded to almost bare skeleton. I left it in thank and a month later it's looking better than it did when I got it. Don't give up!

I've had it out in the light for the past couple of weeks hoping that it would encourage some Zooxanthellae growth. Should I move it to the shadows?
