Hi, there! I have a newbie question. Is it possible for a Lobophyliia to move around? I've had one small lobo (he's about 3 in fully inflated with 3 mouths) in my tank for about a month on the sandbed in a partially shaded area. This last week I noticed the Lobo seemed to be lifting up out of the sand a little bit each day until the entire coral was resting on top of the sand rather than embedded in it where I placed him. Last night, it appears to have moved further under the rock overhang so he's completed shaded. There's nothing in the tank that could possibly have moved it, and he's in a low-medium flow area. He's looked happy every day-fully inflated during the day and also at lights out. I think the water params are ok (no3=0ppm, po4 < .03ppm, Mg=1450ppm, ca= 400ppm, alk=8dkh, ph=8.2). I give it a little bit of mysis once a week after lights out and it sends out huge fat tentacles and seems to eat pretty greedily. Only big change is that we closed the windows in the house and the pH dips down to 7.9 now at night, when it never used to drop below 8.0. Is this guy moving on his own to somewhere shadier? I'm not sure if I should move him back as the edges of the polyp flesh are up against one live rock now when they used to be only on the sand. Pic of his new spot is attached. Any thoughts?
