Lobophora Algae help

That would be hilarious and still would work but just no. u just need to put a stinging coral next to the algae and the coral will probrobly sting it because its in the corals way
 
i wouldnt claim there is zero possibility of a coral regulating its turf against algae by stinging, just that there are no real linkable examples to draw from in the aquarium-centralized group of animals we keep. if there is a japan study from 1950 japan natural settings that would make sense, but none I can draw practically from.

Does anyone still have issues with Lobophora?
I am actually studying this seawaeed. I was curious to know what is the growth rate of Lobophora in reef tanks?
If you have a rough idea (mm/day or cm/month), I would really appreciate the info.
