Yep - as @Curtswearing, @smiley28 and @coral-boss have mentioned, you're likely looking for the Random Flow Generator (RFG) Nozzle. It's the only Random Flow Device on the Market with no moving parts and it can produce a randomize, variable flow pattern from your return lines, or closed loop system.

I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, and you can lean more from our website at:

Do they require a lot of flow coming into them or can they randomize the directional flow output even with lower flow input(gph)?

Asking since my DT has a return locline
That has a Y split....

Looking to put this in them and point to dead spots in corners of my 75 g.

Pump is mag9.

Return also tees off to a small fuge with a valve, just low flow that's all.
Thx

Depending on the amount of head loss - you should be able to get usable randomized flow from a few 1/2in RFGs with that pump. The product page has the flow requiremns for the 1/2in nozzle listed on it:
https://vividcreativeaquatics.com/shop/12in-random-flow-generator-rfg050/

Minimum suggested GPH for two 1/2in RFGs is around 250-400GPH. For a single 1/2in RFG it's between 120-150 GPH

I just installed 2 vivid creative aquatics RFGs on my SCA 50 gallon Cube that's LPS dominant and they work perfectly nice random flow dont even need my powerhead any more. I'm running around 300 to 400 gph. I did have to replace the knock-off loc line that came with tank because the nozzles where just a little to big for it.

Ok I'm about to buy from you guys...
I have two of these from a Y in return line.
It's locline...dunno what size though...
Is it 3/4"or 1"? I put an ice cream stick as reference....Will add a pic with a quarter tmrw! Wanna ensure it fits that locline socket thing!

So I'll need two of those...

Thx

As you probably already figured out - it can be hard to tell sometimes what size loc-line you have - especially if you only have one size to look at. To me it looks like it coudl be either 1/2in or 3/4in loc-line, so you'll want to make sure. Try using this guide we put together to help you figure out what size Loc-line you have

That's awesome. Would love to see your tank - be sure to post a pic of it in our RFG Show Off Thread

I think it's great to see the variety of aquariums that use the Random Flow Generator.

Hi....

I checked your guide.
Locline is 7/8 "OD closest to the point of attaching to another Locline.this point bit wider than mouth itself....
That's 0.875".

The hip (narrow part in middle) of each Locline is exactly 0.625" OD.

Looks like it's a half inch Locline....am I right?

Sorry I didn't want to pull out the Locline since I have Zoa growing on some!
Pics attached....once confirmed I'll order from your site?
Thx much!

Yep - what you have is definitely 1/2in Loc-line
I know... figuring out what loc-line size you have can be tough - especially if you don't have the two next to each other to compare.
